On the Weight loss journey, most people keep on focusing on how many calories they are eating. YES, important, but remember our grandparents used to say SAMAI PAR KHANA is very important.


What time you eat your meals affects the way your body process that food. This field itself is called “CHRONO NUTRITION “.


So, khaiye par samay par khaiye, discipline eating is very important.


Let’s know how scheduling your meals or eating your meals on time can help you Lose Weight.


1. It helps you boost your metabolism— At what time you eat your meals helps you metabolize food differently. The food you eat at 12 in the noon will be metabolized better as the digestive fire is maximum at that time, compared to food of the same calories when you eat at 10 in the night.



2. It helps in detoxification- Eating regularly at right time helps all the waste and toxins with the help of MMC enzyme which contracts the gut and helps release all waste. Your body takes in lots of toxins from the environment, air, and food we eat. Your liver has to detoxify it regularly because when it is clean then only it can metabolize fat better.



3. Structured or disciplined eating helps you feel energetic and happy all throughout the day. As your cells get nourishment and fuel from time to time for better efficiency. When you are happy, you are motivated to maintain healthy changes and work out.



4. This eating pattern also helps align your body to the natural circadian rhythm or maintain the rhythm. Every cell of our body has a natural 24-hour clock embedded which is responsible for proper digestion, metabolism and appetite regulation. Erratic eating disturbs this circadian rhythm. Let me explain if you eat your dinner at 10 at the night. Your insulin levels are naturally low, and your body is going into sleepiness. But your eating pattern is forcing you to release insulin, which creates insulin inefficiency. Circadian rhythm is essential for fat metabolism, preventing or reversing diseases. This also leads to tiredness and reduced physical activity, as you will not be motivated enough to do that.



5. Reduce Overeating – Regular or disciplined eating may help in reinforcing your brain reward centre related to food and thereby reduce overeating. Moreover, when you eat regularly, your cells are nourished all the time. This also helps create trust in your body that it will be taken care of.



6. Improves digestion – When you eat regularly and according to the digestive fire of the body, your body is able to digest that food well. As you know, when digestion is good, absorption of food is well. Bodyworks efficiently. Moreover, disciplined eating will give enough time to the digestive tract to properly digest and absorb food.
