Our taste buds are addicted to eating them as the food industries hack them. Let me answer whether you can eat ice creams on your weight loss journey. The answer is YES.

In this blog, I will give you 5 Ways how you can enjoy them.


1. Firstly, what you can do is DE addict your taste buds by having or substituting with homemade ice creams and nourishing your body with primarily real and healthy food. To your surprise, you will stop craving them. Prepare popsicles and ice creams at home. Remember, we used to make kulfis, mango ice creams at home, and that excitement level the whole day. Do that now also.


2. Choose the source from where you are taking your ice creams. There are many brands that serve ice creams from natural sources and are sugar-free like naturals. Be mindful of the option you are selecting like opting for frozen yogurt or ice candies avoid sundaes, vanilla-filled, or cornetto.


3. Portion Size – Try small scoops and occasional treats of the ice creams you love eating. Controlling the portion size is most important to cut down the calories. If you love eating ice creams too often, how about substituting some days with frozen fruits/homemade ice creams or frozen yogurts whipped with fruits to eat your favorites from the market on some days only.


4. Have them in your mini-meals, not after dinners as desserts that increase the sugar levels.


5. Make a conscious decision that yes I want to indulge in a limited portion but make sure to follow a healthy routine for the rest of the weeks and days.
