While no single food has the power to melt the fat, there are plenty of healthy options that can support your weight loss efforts when included in a healthy diet.

This does not mean you eat or include these and eat whole wrong foods. Including these tasty and satisfying foods in your diet can help supercharge your weight loss efforts.


1. Chia Seeds – When it comes to weight loss, it is super important to cut back on calories. Including two tablespoons of chia seeds satisfies a whopping 40%of daily fiber needs. This is satiating because it slows digestion and keeps us feeling full for a long. These seeds can be included very easily in meals, especially breakfast and snacks.

2. Cruciferous Vegetables - include cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, and dark leafy greens. Their health benefits are vast, and a growing body of research links regular consumption of these vegetables to a lower risk of cancer and reduced inflammation. They are also low in calories and carbs. Making them the perfect non-starchy

addition to any weight loss plan. These are simple to use and can be added to salads/ smoothies or as a low-carb swap for grains.

3. Whole grains- Many people may think they need to give up starch like pasta, bread, and rice when they are trying to shed weight. Thankfully, this is not the case, especially if we are choosing whole grains most of the time. In addition to vitamins, minerals, and Phytonutrients, whole grains contain fiber to feel satisfied. Plus, our bodies and brains prefer energy from carbohydrates, so consuming these foods alongside protein and healthy fat can help reduce cravings for refined carbs and sugar, which can sometimes sabotage weight loss efforts.

4. Apple- Like Veggies, fruits are a smart addition to any healthy weight loss plan. They are easy to get, can be stored in the fridge, and make as a super portable snack. You can also get creative and work them into meals, in the salads or smoothies. Because of their high water content and fiber apples are low in calories and are filling.

5. Beans, chickpeas, lentils, and peas- As a group, they are known as pulses. They may influence weight loss due to their effect on fullness as well as protein and fiber content. They also contain soluble fiber that slows digestion and gives a feeling of satiety.


Include these foods in your daily diet as they are delicious, nutritious, and supportive of your goals to reach or maintain a healthier weight.
